Purpose

Google Workspace-native async chat for team spaces and direct messaging. Complement to Slack (which is the primary async comm tool) for conversations that happen within Google Workspace context (e.g., around a shared Doc or Drive folder).

How we use it

gws-chat skill stack. Supports: space management, message sending, reading spaces and DMs. Less heavily used than Slack for daily ops — primary use is Google-native collaboration.

Setup & credentials
