Purpose

Document authoring for drafts, collaborative writing, client-facing documents, and long-form content. Part of the primary Google Workspace productivity stack.

How we use it

gws-docs skill stack. Supports read, append, and content manipulation operations. Recipes: draft email from doc, save email to doc, create doc from template, generate report from sheet.

Setup & credentials

Google Workspace OAuth.

Owner

chief.staff handles document coordination; content-specific ownership flows to relevant agent (category.positioning for marketing drafts, legal.exec for contracts, etc.).

Notes

  • Part of the primary Google Workspace productivity stack
  • Per the Tool Selection Policy, internal governance content lives in Obsidian; Google Docs is used for external-facing or client-collab documents per the 4 Notion exceptions (or equivalent)
