Wispr Flow

Purpose

Voice-to-text dictation tool. Rick uses Wispr Flow to dictate messages and commands across applications, including Claude Code terminal sessions. Faster than typing for longer instructions and natural-language task descriptions.

How we use it

  • Primary use: CEO dictation into Claude Code terminal panes, Slack, and other text inputs
  • Context: Rick runs a 4/6/8-pane VS Code grid (grid N) and uses Wispr Flow to dictate instructions to agents across panes rather than typing each one
  • Known quirk: occasionally misinterprets proper names and technical terms (e.g., "Eva" → "Ava", agent names → similar-sounding words). Agents should interpret charitably when message text looks like a near-miss phonetic substitution.

Integration points

  • macOS system-level dictation — works in any text field
  • No direct API integration with eco|monetize™ systems

Notes

  • Added to wiki 2026-04-16 per CEO request
  • No MCP integration exists or is planned — this is a local input tool
