Alternative conferencing platform. Used when partners/clients are Zoom-native. Not the primary internal meeting tool (Google Meet is preferred).

How we use it

Ad hoc Zoom meetings with external participants. Recording + transcription typically handled via Sembly or Granola as the capture layer rather than Zoom's native.

Setup & credentials

Login credentials in 1Password. Primary access at zoom.us. Zoom desktop app installed on Mac — join links open natively. No API integration; used as a web/app tool only.

Recording: use Sembly or Granola as the capture overlay rather than Zoom's native recording where possible — avoids cloud recording storage costs and keeps transcripts in the eco|monetize stack.
